The former Microsoft software developer, Charles Simyoni , is ready for his space tourist trip says ZDNet. Simonyi reportedly paid about $25m dollars for his 11-day space tourism adventure and has spent the past several months training at Star City, near Moscow. From the article: "Simonyi will also take a number of books to the ISS to start a library as well as digital recordings of classical music, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Martha Stewart is preparing gourmet food for the jaunt." Well, at least they'll all be well fed! I've always wondered what it's like to eat in space. Maybe one day I'll get the chance...! |
